Potting Shed Dedham Pottery Children’s Tea Set Rare Vintage. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I have not been able to find much about this little set - other Potting Shed tea sets, yes…but little to no information about this splendid little charming set. There is no sugar. To be honest, I don’t remember the sugar. This belongs to my mother and she had it on display for many years in her dining room. It would stand to reason that there would be a sugar bowl, but, again, I don’t remember one.
This set includes everything pictured. All pieces are in excellent condition. Only one of the plates has a mark on the bottom - the rest have nothing. Three of the cups are all dated 97, but one of them appears to be dated 00 (for 2000) - again, a detail I am unclear on. The creamer is dated 97 and the teapot is dated 98. The one plate that has a mark on it has no date.
Plates measure 2 7/8” in diameter
Cups measure 1 1/8” high and 1 7/8” in diameter
The creamer is 2” high and 1 3/8” in diameter at the mouth
The teapot stands about 4 1/4” high with the lid on and is 6 1/4” from the end of the spout to the tip of the handle.
So perfectly charming and it will be the star of your collection.
