ANCIENT CHINESE BRONZE SWORD HAN DYN DIAN KINGDOM Full Size Engraved Faces.
This is a fantastic item. A Bronze Sword from the Han Dynasty. The Dian Kingdom, which is known for its particular art forms and Culture.
Wonderful figural Head pommel. Made of solid One Piece bronze. Cross Guard is 4" in width. It is 35 inches overall. Blade is 29 3/4" in length. 3 1/8" wide at ricasso.
Condition is excellent for its age. No major damage at all. Has greenish and whitish patina all over. Fairly heavy. About 4-5 pounds.
There is engraving on the blade. A fierce looking warrior. Seven engravings. On each side of the blade, which still has a fairly sharp edge.
An exceptional sword. Very hard to find Full Size, with Engravings. Made of Solid Bronze. From the Dian Kingdom, Han Dynasty, about 100 BC.
