    Description

A very good copy of a simple and compound microscope after Cary-Gould, preserved in its traveling box on which it can be screwed.
The microscope, unsigned, is certainly English, datable around 1830.
The instrument comes with its 4 objective lenses, its optical body for use as a compound microscope, its original mirror, its condenser lens, a white and black disc for the stage, three slides, a round-shaped livebox and a curved glass for aquatic observations.
Only the stage tweezer is missing and the only flaw: the clasp is damaged.
Otherwise the instrument is in very good condition.
The box measures, closed: 16x12x5 cm
